We are an SG sponsored club who seeks to promote ballroom and latin dance throughout the RIT community. We welcome anyone, whether you're a student, faculty or staff, employee, or member of the community - we will teach you to dance! Don’t worry if you have never danced before – you don’t need to have any experience, or even a partner!

We offer both beginner and advanced classes to accommodate every experience level. The beginner class is taught by advanced members of the Ballroom Club. We have a great time learning new dances and sometimes even non-ballroom dances. Our advanced class is taught by our coaches and concentrates on more advanced steps & technique.

Besides offering a social dance club, we also have grown to include a competitive team, which travels along the East Coast and represents RIT at collegiate competitions (we have been to Brown, Cornell, Harvard, UPenn, MIT, and Johnson & Wales in the last couple of years). Anyone can join regardless of experience, since you only compete against dancers of your own level. Visit the team page for more info!
