Sisters of Delta Phi Epsilon actively participate in events to support our international philanthropies: The Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis and Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD). Over the years we have helped raise thousands of dollars for these organizations. We stress service as an opportunity to reach out to the community and grow as a group.
The Delta Phi Epsilon Education Foundation
The educational foundation was established in 1967 in honor of the fiftieth anniversary of Delta Phi Epsilon. Through grants and loans, the Foundation assists members and their children to complete their education or continue with graduate studies. The Educational Foundation also provides funding for educational programs and leadership training for undergraduate members and advisors.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
The official philanthropy of Delta Phi Epsilon since 1958, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the recipient of funds raised by chapters to support research towards a cure for Cystic Fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for the 30,000 children and young adults with disease. In 1992 scientists described the gene that, when mutated, causes CD; however, a cure for CF has not yet been found.
Over one million dollars has been raised to date for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through Delta Phi Epsilon. In appreciation of the Sorority’s fundraising efforts, the Foundation named a research fellowship in honor of Delta Phi Epsilon. At Convention 2006, Delta Phi Epsilon announced its official partnership with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This official partnership cements a relationship that spans the last 48 years, in which Delta Phi Epsilon has raised more than one million dollars for the fight to cure CF.
National Association of Anorexia Nervosa & Associated Disorders
Since 1985, The National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD) has been an additional recipient of fund raising efforts by Delta Phi Epsilon sorority. ANAD is a national organization dedicated to alleviating problems of anorexia and other eating disorders. Its methods include education, newsletters, counseling, self-help groups, and providing funds for research. Delta Phi Epsilon is the only one of 26 National Panhellenic Council Sororities to sponsor an organization whose sole purpose is to alleviate eating disorders.
The ANAD candlelight vigil has been selected as Delta Phi Epsilon’s International Service Day Event, in order to raise awareness of the dangers of eating disorders. Chapters and alumnae associations throughout the United States and Canada host ANAD Candlelight Vigils.
The ladies of Delta Phi Epsilon also participate in local philanthropic and community service projects including the following:

The ladies of Delta Phi Epsilon also regularly participate in philanthropies hosted by the other Greek organizations on campus.
