o Help new International students acclimatize to life in RIT and US
o Connect International students with Cultural clubs.
o Direct Students to the right resources and departments on campus.
o Represent International Students in the RIT Student Government Senate and the Institute Council.
o Communicate International Student issues to Student Affairs department.

o Represent interests of cultural clubs in the RIT Student Government Senate and the Institute Council.
o Global Union Finance Director serves on the Financial Committee meetings of Student Government. We can guide you to better present your club’s co-sponsorship proposals to the committee and help the committee understand your needs.
o Global Union co-sponsors cultural events every year. -We ask that Clubs approach Student Government for sponsorship request first and then ask for part of the remaining amount from Global Union.
o Provide Guidance with handling club finances.
o Provide assistance and guidance during planning and event execution stage.
o Help organize fund raisers and volunteering service events.
o Provide assistance with advertising.
