Meeting Minutes 9/6/09

President:

I-House Basics: Pass the evaluation process to remain an on-floor member. Evaluation consists of attending I-house events, dinners, floor meetings, kitchen clean-ups, attend committee meetings and events, and completing 3 hours of community service each quarter.
Committees (event planning, fundraising, public relations, facilities, website): sign-up sheets will be posted.
I-House t-shirts and sweatshirts? Yes!
Floor Meeting Orientation: E-board, RA, open forum, and cowbell (funny stories of floor members or self) – To keep meetings short no talking while e-board or the RA is talking.
SIH Activities Board – need 1 person to attend the meetings at the RHA office every Mon at 7pm.
Kitchen Access (trying to complete by Fri) – please send your name and student ID # to the rit_ihouse@yahoo.com and if you didn’t get an email go see Norway.
2 open e-board positions: FM (Facilities Manager) and Historian. To run for an e-board position you need to live on-floor for 2 quarters.
If there are no nominations for Historian we will postpone this position until next quarter.
If there are no nominations for FM Sarah M. will become the next FM.

Vice President:

Oct. 3 – Niagara Falls
Darian Lakes (spring quarter)
Sept. 11 – Pool Party 8:30pm – 10:30pm at the Aquatics Center in the Gordon Field House – meet in lounge to head over together.

Public Relations

Sept. 7 – Open House from 10am to 6pm near the sundial.
Leaving door open for Open House hours will count as 1 hour towards community service
Volunteering at the table during Open House will count for as many hours as you contributed for community service.

Resident Advisor

Roommate agreements: Please turn them in! and there are some of you who did not write your name on the agreements.
