Prayer

Prayer Meetings

As Christians, we believe in a God who speaks, and we believe in a God who listens. Spend time listening and talking back; He wants to hear from you! And don’t forget to leave time aside on Sunday night to join InterVarsity in prayer:

Fight Club

Led by Dan Thompson, Fight Club is a men’s prayer gathering. We join together to discuss what prayer means for each of us, to learn more about the role prayer plays in each of our lives, and to pray for the needs of our chapter, our campus, and our world.

Sundays 8:30-9:30 PM in Colony 109 dpt7465@rit.edu

After Eight

Led by Elisabeth Lachelt, After Eight is a women’s prayer gathering. The women of RIT gather to discuss different aspects of prayer and to share their prayer concerns and their joys with each other, and to pray together.

Sundays 8:30-9:30 PM in Perkins 189C ekl6218@rit.edu

Inter-Group Campus Prayer

Hosted by RIT BASIC

Prayer is one of our biggest priorities and values. Prayer is what changes and transforms the spiritual atmosphere around us and lays a platform for God to move. We have a time of prayer along with other Christian groups here on campus in the Jones Chapel of the Interfaith Center. Come and edify yourself and others in the presence of the Lord as we partner together in prayer for RIT.

When: Tuesdays, 1 PM

Where: Jones Chapel, Interfaith Center, SAU

Prayer 24/7

Prayer is an important part of Christian life at all times; you can pray alone, with a few, or with many, for anything that’s going on in your world. If you want to know more about prayer or would like to see more organized prayer events on campus, please contact Andrew Fallows (asf3899@rit.edu) or Tammy Bixler (tamchan17@gmail.com).
