returning

October 29th, 2007

We’re back from Expedition. I’m looking forward to watching as God uses us as individuals and as a unit to apply what we learned at Long Point Camp to Rochester Institute of Technology.

Those of you who missed Expedition, make sure you ask someone (or multiple people) who went about their experience. Don’t be satisfied with the simple, “It was cool.” Find out how we were impacted, and how we plan to apply it to our lives here.

Servant Team updates:

There are two important things we’ve been working on.

Over the past two weeks we’ve formulated something I’ll call the “Chapter Involvement and Service Diagram.” We’re all pretty pumped at how God might use this to further refine the direction and mindset of the chapter. I’ll be formally revealing the diagram at November Jubilee, right after Service Night week 10. If you want the scoop sooner, just ask.

This evening at Servant Team we will begin the process of evaluating and reevaluating the goals that we set out to accomplish from Basileia (IV’s year-end retreat - look forward to it this spring!).

And rumors you may have heard about a meeting with the RIT Skeptics may be true. January.

Grace and Peace,

- m a t t
