Hey everybody,
This should be fun! I hope to see everyone there. Don’t forget to bring questions for the Q&A session at the end!

Why would you guys want to have a debate on the existence of God? Leave all the rational stuff to the skeptics. You guys are above that. Obviously you’ll lose a debate if you try to make it rational. Let them take care of all that logical junk and just focus on the Lord.

Edward, I think it is unfortunate that you fell the way you do about debate. We believe that our God is a God of logic and order. He gave us minds so that we can use them. There are certainly aspects of God that we cannot comprehend.
This debate is not about winning or losing. Both parties are interested in spurring our campus to think critically about God and spiritual matters.
This website is not the place to debate about debates. If you have a question, please come to the debate itself!

Edward:
The debate is about the open exchange of ideas. We’re all working together to reach a better understanding of one another, and help he audience do the same. Leaving ad hominems on the internet doesn’t help anyone.

May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon all of you,
I am a Muslim and I am glad to see that people of different beliefs can come together to speak their minds and hearts. Thinking critically in general is a good thing and debating about it, as long as there is respect of boundaries, is also a good thing.
I will try to be there to know about perspectives and share my own.
