IV Newsletter 2.10
February 19th, 2008
God is good, we sing and shout! What’s this week 10 all about?
Outline:
- Service Night (6:30)
- Welcome Team
- Involvement
1. Service Night will start this Friday at 6:30 in Webb (7A-1350). We will be splitting into groups for the following on-campus projects:
- Prayer Walk
- Cleaning Dishes in the Apartments
- Vacuuming in the Dorms
- Appreciation Note Cards to the Faculty
If you have a vacuum, carpet sweeper, dish detergent, sponge/Brillo pad, or markers, please let Belinda know. Thanks!
We will reconvene after our projects at about 9:00pm in NRH 1250 for some music, testimonies, and food.
2. Welcome Team
Servant Team has spent some time discussing the great ideas for Large Group that you all generated at February Jubilee. One of the comments was about the welcome team, so we wanted to let everyone know that welcome team is functioning. If you are interested in being a regular (monthly) part of welcome team, send an email to Katlyn.
3. If you are interested in being involved int he chapter in any way next year, please take some time to fill out the involvement questionnaire and send it to Mark before the beginning of spring quarter. I think practically everyone should do this. Keep in mind that “being involved” doesn’t mean “holding an official leadership position.”
Also, if you haven’t yet, take a minute to make your own leadership nominations in our cool survey.
When he reached home, he took a knife and cut up his concubine, limb by
limb, into twelve parts and sent them into all the areas of Israel. Everyone who saw it said, “Such a thing has never been seen or done,
not since the day the Israelites came up out of Egypt. Think about it!
Consider it! Tell us what to do!”
