Welcome to the first IV Newsletter of spring! there may be snow on the ground, but at RIT, spring has arrived.
Outline:
- Large Group: “Why the Rest Hates the West.”

1. This don’t miss internationally acclaimed author Meic Pearse as he discusses thoughts from his book Why the Rest Hates the West:Understanding the Roots of Global Rage. The Muslim Student Association and the RIT Anti-War Group have been invited to attend. Large Group is 7-8:30pm this Friday in Webb Auditorium (7A-1350).
2. Cupcake Social!
The yum is back, this time in conjunction with RIT’s chapter of Invisible Children. Thursday , March 20 11am-3pm in the Fireside Lounge. We’ll be giving away cupcakes (we fed RIT about 900 in the fall!) and advertising for IV and the screening of a new I.C. film Thursday night. This is a great way to intorduce your friends to other IVers. But, we can’t do it without you! We need cupcakes! If anyone can bake (unfrosted) cupcakes please contact Chelsea.
3. Involvement Questionnaire. If you want to be involved in IV in any way for the next year, please take 30 minutes to fill this out and email it to Mark before 6pm Wed. (tomorrow).
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
