1. Prayer before Large Group will be at 6:30 PM in the Atrium in the A level of Building 8 where the semicircle couches are.

2. Come to Large Group on Friday at 7 PM in Building 8-1250 and hear Chase Miller talk about the Wanton Killer: Ruining community with gossip, malice & slander. While you’re at it, invite a friend.
3. And you’ll want to stick around afterwards for our quarterly Town Meeting. Bring your excitement, ideas, and concerns. We’ll specifically focus on the areas of Large Group and small groups, but don’t limit your creativity or critques to that.
4. And then, join us in worshipping God with our brothers and sisters at Praise Night at the RITz. Oooh, I’m psyched about it. 10 PM, free admittance, free pizza and wings, in the RITz. Sponsored by College Activities Board, Agape Christian Fellowship, Baptist Campus Ministries, Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Campus Crusade for Christ, Gospel Ensemble, and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Yeah! Don’t forget to invite a friend.
5. Then, we’re waking up early on Saturday ’cause we want to get trained up to be better leaders! Leadership Summit is for you. Meet at Gracies at 7:30 AM on Saturday, January 31st. We’ll carpool to University of Buffalo and spend the day learning about evangelism, serving, or leading small groups and get back around 6 PM. Registration will be at UB and cost $10, but it includes free lunch.

6. Most of the time, people don’t come to things unless they get invited. Be intentional this week with reaching your friends. Invite them to Large Group, small group, Praise Night, Little Shop of Horrors Saturday night, or hang out with them at a Superbowl Party. Live the love of Christ and speak it, too.

7. Next Friday after Large Group, we’re planning on going sledding. Bring warm clothes and friends!

8. Last week Prisca was faced with a day full of classes and not enough time to finish homework that was due. In the morning, she prayed for God to give her enough time and to her surprise, one of her classes was released early and her noon class was canceled. As she worked on an essay that was due the next day, a friend desperately asked her for help on a photo shoot. Although originally she did not have enough time to finish her own work, with God’s provision she had enough to share. God knows our needs, even before we ask Him, and He provides more than enough for us.

Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow; for this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: “That which is devoted is among you, O Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove it.”

Grace,
