8. Storytime
1. Prayer for the Campus takes place every Friday 12-2 PM in the RITreat. Join in.
2. Large Group this week will feature our very own Matt Sones speaking on those long co-op nights (lots of time with nothing to do). Building 8, 1250 at 7 PM. Come at 6:30 PM and pray!
3. Bring some cash and a sweet tooth to Large Group because before and after Large Group, a few IVers will be selling homemade baked goods. All proceeds will go to feed and clothe impoverished Kenyans.
4. Because we believe in changing the world, InterVarsity at RIT has signed a petition that RIT only purchase apparel from factories that treat their workers fairly. As a result, we are searching for sweatshop free apparel for our own shirts. We apologize for the delay this has caused. T shirts are coming!
5. Worship God, study the Bible, broaden your vision, deepen your faith, and spend time with us from RIT and your brothers and sisters from other campuses around New York and New Jersey for a week! Basileia is May 23-28. Register here. And don’t let cost be an issue (talk to God and Mark about it).
6. The same as above but with 20,000 Christians from around the world!!!! Urbana takes place every 3 years and is happening December 27-31, 2009. Don’t miss it! Start praying, thinking, planning, saving now.
7. And, if you want to be a part of the work Marian Noronha is doing in Nepal, he has extended an invitation to join him on a missions trip there at the end of May. Email me for an application or contact Carla Rogers if you have any questions.
8. God worked in tangible ways in each of the missions trips (formal and informal, local and global) that took place over Spring Break. Be sure to ask each other about how God worked in, through, and around you.
