3. This week at Large Group we will be hearing from Pastor Dan Soderberg on how we can stop hiding the light (and tell others about Jesus). Building 8-1250, 7 PM, like always. Be there at 6:30 PM for prayer.
4. Mark your calendars for:
- MC training- if you want to be a master of ceremonies for Large Group sometime, come to Kyle and Dave’s MC training on Wednesday, March 25th, at 8 PM. Location is TBA but will most likely be a classroom academic side.
- Friday, March 27th, directly after Large Group we are heading over to SDC 1300/1310 to have the first ever joint lock-in (games and movies) with RITGA (RIT Gay Alliance) and with all of our other brothers and sisters in Christ at RIT (BASIC, BCM, CCC, Agape, Gospel). This event is to demonstrate that despite our conflicting beliefs, we can still hang out and have fun. Controversial discussions will be discouraged. Please bring games (and even gaming systems- one room will be set up for Wii and Xbox). If you’re interested in cooking a dinner type food or a dessert, please contact Allison.
- Our Spring quarter Town Meeting will be April 3rd. Be ready.
5. Servant team has new office hours for this quarter. Check out the website.
6. During RocUp, Mark learned about serving people by giving them value. This Saturday, Mark was working on his yard when a man walked up and asked if Mark would pay him to help. Mark agreed to. The next hour the man and Mark got to work and talk. Mark appreciated the man for his help and praised God that it gave him an opportunity to talk to a neighbor and meet some of his practical needs. Look for ways God wants to use you to meet the practical needs of those around you!
The LORD said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of the Amorites; I have given them into your hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you.”
