Attend, learn, and support.

2. This Friday is an Accepted Student Open House at RIT. InterVarsity has a table from 11 AM-3 PM. If you would like to meet students you’ll see at RIT next year, volunteer to help us for an hour or two. Contact Allison.

3. This week’s Large Group talk is about faith and what it means to respond to God. And the speaker is…moi, Arricka. Large Group is Friday in Building 8, 1250 at 7 PM. Come at 6:30 PM and pray!

4. This FridayApril 3rd, directly after Large Group, we are having our quarterly Town Meeting. Be prepared to celebrate and keep going!

5. If you are a freshman, you are invited to attend the Freshman Bash immediately after Large Group in Sol Reading Room. Food, fun, actually I really don’t know what since I’m not invited. This Friday until 2:30 AM (Saturday). All freshmans are invited. No upperclassman are invited.

6. April 5-April 9 is Habitat for Humanity’s Act! Speak! Build! week of advocacy for housing. If you are interested in being a part of any of their events, please contact RIT chapter president, Katie.

7. April 10th Large Group we’re doing Large Group a little differently. Titled “Why I Believe,” we’ll be hearing testimonies from Nick Rehbaum, Val Tracy, Belinda Segui, Daron Ladson, and myself. Start inviting people you know are curious about why we love Jesus. And pray.

8. Basileia!!!!!!!! May 23-28, 2009. Register for a great time here. Money cannot be an excuse. If you think it could be, contact Mark. You should also consider attending Urbana, December 27-31, 2009 in St. Louis, MO. I think I might be going. More info here.

9. Michelle felt that this quarter, God has put several people on her heart that she should hang out with, serve, and bless. Even though she does not know them well, in the last two weeks, each of them have contacted her about hanging out more. With each person, God provided time for hanging out to happen. God wants us to love people, and He gives us direction and what we need to do it.

You are numerous and very powerful. You will have not only one allotment but the forested hill country as well. Clear it, and its farthest limits will be yours; though the Canaanites have iron chariots and though they are strong, you can drive them out.

Grace,

Arricka Nowland
