1. Tonight is free pasta in the Skalny Room (basement of the InterFaith Center) 5:30-6:30 PM. Invite your friends to free pasta and then invite them to here about why we believe in Jesus on Friday.

2. This week is Rwandan Genocide Remembrance Week. Wednesday from 12-2 PM Stephen Paletta will be presenting in Xerox Auditorium. A question and answer session with survivors of the genocide will follow.

3. $100 to go to Urbana?!?! Fill out this 15 minute survey and get a chance to win one of 10 $100 scholarships to Urbana.

4. Help your friends (or even yourself) afford Basileia (which you should register for) by donating your spare change on Friday at Large Group. Everything you give to InterVarsity this year doubles! Which is why everyone should give $5 right now (designate InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in the comments box). If just 50 people did, that’s $500 InterVarsity can use to serve students at RIT!

5. This Friday7 PM, at Large Group (Bldg 8-1250), we’re listening to Daron, Val, Belinda, Nick, and myself talk about why we believe in JesusInvite your friends and talk to them about why you believe in Jesus. People don’t usually come if you don’t invite them.

6. Jesus Christ is risen! This Sunday we are going to celebrate it at sunrise! Join us (and other brothers and sisters here at RIT) on the balcony of Building 7 at 6:10 AM for worship and scripture reading. Maybe we’ll have breakfast together somewhere afterward. Directions to the balcony are at the end of this email.

7. And then keep celebrating all day at Lambapalooza!! Roast lamb and other delectable selections, games, hanging out, relaxing. It starts at 12:30 PM and goes till 6 PM. Feel free to bring as many friends as you have, but please RSVP to me or on facebook. If you’re interested in cooking or bringing something, let me know. Otherwise, suggested donation is $3-5.

8. If you would like to hear more about God’s passion for you and how we are to respond to it, the sermon I took part of my talk from on Friday is on the InterVarsity websiteDownload it and listen to it, if you get the chance. (And, Jeremy Simpkins has a sweet British accent).

9. Last week as they were camped out in the woods for training, Nick had the opportunity to talk to one of his fellow ROTC officers about Jesus. He prayed that God would continue to provide opportunities for more conversations. Nick didn’t have a chance to work with the same guy during training this week, but as he walked by him, he overheard another ROTC officer sharing the gospel with him. Jesus loves people and wants them to hear about his love.

How long will you wait before you begin to take possession of the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you?
