2. Mullet for Joel? Waxed legs for Slippey? No rattail for Ryan? Vote with your spare change for one of these choices on Friday at Large Group and raise money for Basileia scholarships.

3. Michelle wants to raise money for Basileia by putting things like flamingos on your pastor’s lawn and making him pay to have it removed. If you’re interested in helping her, please contact her sooooon.

4. Speaking of Basileia, registration goes up in price on Saturday so register now. If you need a scholarship, talk to Mark.

5. Our very own Rachel Unkle is speaking about serving our churches at Large Group this Friday at 7 PM in Building 8-1250.

6. Next week, no Large Group. Instead? FIRE!!! We’ll have our annual off campus bonfire. Details to follow. You are also welcome to spend the night but you have to bring your own tent, sleeping bag, etc.

7. The National Day of Prayer is May 7th. We are joining with our brothers and sisters on campus to pray for 24 hours beginning at 12 AM May 7th and ending at 11:59 PM May 7th. Sign up to pray on Friday at Large Group.

8. T shirts will be here in about 2 weeks!

9. Since RocUp, David Kraines has been helping a Christian woman run a food distribution program. She runs her program through a local non-Christian organization for service workers. After hearing that Dave is a New Media Publishing major, this organization contacted him about doing their newsletter. One of the leaders met with Dave and asked him what he thought the greatest need in Rochester is. Dave replied, “Jesus.” The man was disappointed but continued to ask Dave what Dave meant by that. Dave got to share the gospel with him and talk about the transformation God brings to our lives. Praise God! Be bold and speak the truth!

The LORD has driven out before you great and powerful nations; to this day no one has been able to withstand you. One of you routs a thousand, because the LORD your God fights for you, just as he promised. So be very careful to love the LORD your God.

Grace in your 7th week of classes,

Arricka Nowland
