Everything you wanted to know about RIT SportsZone
RIT SportsZone debuted on February 22, 2002. The student-run organization, led by directors Mark Fragale and Kevin Roche, features stories on student athletes, coaches, clubs and events at RIT. In March 2009, SportsZone hit the century mark, as the seven year old sports program celebrated its 100th episode. The milestone show featured segments on the program’s founding fathers, and took a look back at some of the best moments from the previous six seasons.
The SZ team consists of photographers, editors, graphic designers, producers, directors, reporters, web developers and a marketing team. SportsZone, a collaboration between ESPN, Time Warner Cable, and RIT, airs weekly on Time Warner Cable Sports Network and ESPN 2.
