Is there any bad blood between RIT and Mercy? Especially after they knocked us out of the playoffs last year?

We have had some great games with Mercyhurst but I wouldn't say there is any bad blood just disappointed in ourselves in the play-off game.

DeMichiel is the current AHA Goaltender of the Week. How important has his success been to the team?

I think as Jared DeMichiel goes we go. Our league is so tough that if your goalie is not playing well it will be hard to win. He has been very good this year.

You had three straight games where you scored atleast six goals, then only hit the net twice on Saturday. What are you going to do to get the offense back on track?

I think in order to score I just want to focus on our opportunities more than the results. We have been generating a lot of chances and have been getting goals lately.

So far this year most of the goal scoring has been by defensemen, is that just a coincidence or something you've been working on?

We have always allowed our defensemen to join the rush and be active in our offense. It is a part of our system and also the type of player we recruit. Sometimes it is very hard to score because everyone plays great defense that you need to add another player to help the forwards.
