Learning Assistance Students

Students fitting our target population are invited to receive Learning Assistance on a quarterly basis. 

Target Population:

• First year, first time students
• Received a D,F and/or W in the previous quarter
• Received a 2.0-3.0 term GPA in the previous quarter

Once grades have posted, students who fall within in the the target population will receive an invitation to participate in Learning Assistance.  Similar information will be sent home to the student's parents or guardians.

Those who choose to participate in this opportunity will schedule an intake meeting with the Learning Assistant to help determine the barriers preventing them from reaching their full academic potential.

A list of invited students is shared with Academic Departments and FYE Instructors to encourage participation.
