Enrollment Information

Enrollment in EMPOWER is open to any student registered for RIT classes. There are two levels of enrollment available to students:

Level 1: $660/semester

  • One 50-minute appointment per week to focus on goal setting, time management, academic strategies, and reflection on course progress
  • A goal setting plan developed with an Empower mentor based on the student’s desired and identified areas for improvement
  • Personalized recommendations regarding the use of campus and Academic Support Center resources such as ASC Workshops, academic support courses, math assessment and math tutoring and support.

Level 2: $1320/semester

  • Two 50-minute appointments per week to focus on goal setting, time management, academic strategies, and reflection on course progress

* Should you have financial concerns that would preclude enrollment in EMPOWER, please contact empower@rit.edu regarding the possibility of available gift funds.

**Empower fees are non-refundable. Sessions offer flexibility of entry up to the end of the 13th week of the term. In case of voluntary or involuntary leave or withdrawal from RIT a refund may be made in accordance with Institute policy.
