Academic Assessment

The Academic Assessment Program (AAP) is designed to analyze the causes of academic difficulty for students who are unclear about what is impacting their performance. Multiple techniques, including interviewing, checklists, and formal assessment tools, are used to uncover the sources of difficulty. Assessment Specialists work with students to determine what strategies, instruction, and/or referrals are appropriate to address performance issues. If a disability (such as ADHD or a specific learning disability) is suspected, the student is referred off-campus for further evaluation.

Contact jane.munt@rit.edu with any questions.
