The Academic Support Center provides services for all RIT and RIT/NTID supported Baccalaureate and Graduate degree-seeking students. Any NTID students enrolled in an associate’s degree program such as NTID’s AAS, AOS or AA program should first seek academic support from NTID’s Counseling and Academic Advising Services office.

Accordion Arrow GRE Prep Class

Why take our class?

  • To sharpen your skills, get the edge and take the test with confidence!
  • To gain an understanding of the format of the GRE and learn techniques specifically aimed at mastering each type of question.
  • To have ample time for practice.
  • Classes are limited to 20 students.

Dates/Times

  • Offered every Spring and Fall.
  • Two days a week for 6 weeks.
  • GRE Verbal: Tuesday - Sept. 18, 25, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm
  • GRE Math: Thursday - Sept. 16, 23, 30, Oct. 7, 14, 21 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm
  • Location: Orange (ORN) Hall Room 1360

Cost

  • Verbal: $165, Math: $165, Combined: $330

What to bring

  • Purchase and bring The Official Guide to the GRE Revised General Test by ETS.

  • 4 hours every Saturday for 5 weeks
  • SAT Verbal: Saturday - Sept. 20, 27, Oct. 4, 18, 25 (No Class 10/11) from 10:00am – 12:00pm
  • SAT Math: Saturday - Sept. 20, 27, Oct. 4, 18, 25 (No Class 10/11) from 12:30pm – 2:30pm
  • Location: Orange (ORN) Hall Room 1360

Cost

  • Verbal: $165, Math: $165, Combined: $330

What to bring:

  • Purchase The Official SAT Study Guide, (2nd edition) published by College Board. Bring the calculator you will use on the SAT. You may bring a snack or lunch with you to eat during break.
