"I'm a Computer Animation graduate student working as a graduate assistant in the ASC. I help out with all things math-related, from tutoring in the Math Lab to leading CRP Study Groups and helping with the Individualized Math class. Faculty in the ASC are approachable, friendly, and extremely competent in their areas of expertise
As a former math major, I really appreciate what the ASC does. I wish I could’ve had access to the resources available at the ASC when I was an undergraduate. Not only is everyone approachable and friendly, but extremely competent in their areas of expertise. I feel that I have a unique role in my job as a student assistant—I can sympathize with students currently taking high-level, demanding courses as well as offering the support and encouragement that most students need. It is extremely rewarding for me to be in a position to give students the academic help and friendly support that I wish I’d had in college."
