Vice President's Office Division Goals

Underlying any successful assessment program is a solid, agreed upon, and utilized set of goals and objectives.

Student Affairs Goals (2005-2010)

    Student Success

  • Provide an experiential learning environment that facilitates and supports students' academic, personal and professional success.

    Global Society

  • Create opportunities that foster a living, learning and working environment where international and domestic students, faculty, and staff interact in order to develop cross-cultural awareness.

    Community

  • Provide and enhance programming, services and opportunities that contribute to the creation and support of a strong RIT community.

    Career

  • Promote the development of a learning environment that enhances the professional preparation and career education of students.

    Scholarship & Quality Practices

  • Provide continuous opportunities and support to division faculty and staff for the advancement of scholarship, professional development, quality practices and institute service.

The Student Affairs Goals (2005-2010) serve as an anchor for the division - a tie between the mission, goals and strategic dimensions of the Institute as a whole AND the individual missions, goals, and objectives of the various centers and program offered. Student Affairs Goals Alignment (PDF)

The following template is available to division members for use in understanding both the foundation of the current goals and how each area can further customize these goals in the annual plans of work.
