Happy International Education Week!

Happy International Education Week!

According to the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, "International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences."

#IEW2016 runs from November 14 to November 18, but RIT Global has decided to put their own little spin on the RIT schedule of events. This year, the celebrations began with a Kick-Off party on Friday, November 11, complete with a dance by RIT Bhangra and a make your own fortune cookie station - yes, that's right - a chance to predict your own future! The celebrations will conclude with an RIT tradition - Unification sponsored by RIT Global Union on Saturday, November 19 beginning at 7 p.m.

#RITStudentLife took a trip down to make our own fortune cookes! As you'll see... we messed up a bit.

Don't miss out on the #IEW2016 celebrations and send us a picture of your fortune cookie or your favorite dance at Unification using #RITStudentLife!
