Project SpiRIT

Creating a stronger sense of community and Tiger Pride at RIT

RIT Student Government is the primary governance group serving and advocating for students here at RIT. They’ve long stood behind their many services and initiatives including PawPrints, BikeShare, RITpedia, and now, Project SpiRIT!

This initiative is intended to foster a stronger sense of community and pride by increasing school spirit and attendance at campus events. Students are about to rack up “SpiRIT Points” throughout each semester that qualifies them to win prizes. The point values are as followed:

Earn 10 SpiRIT points by attending SpiRIT events and getting your ID scanned.
Earn 5 SpiRIT points for wearing RIT gear on Fridays and getting your ID scanned.

Some of the prizes include pens, stickers, Project SpiRIT apparel, giftcards to Amazon and various local restaurants. But, can we talk about how cool the grand prizes are? These are awarded to the four RIT students with the most SpiRIT points at the end of each semester.

Don’t forget to wear RIT apparel on Fridays and check out the Student Government website for more information on events!
