RepaiRIT Week

RepaiRIT Week

If it’s broke, YOU can fix it!

Last week was RepaiRIT Week at RIT, a week long sustainability campaign designed to educate RIT students on the importance of being sustainable for a better world!

On Friday, the #RITStudentLife team visited the Sustainability Workshop in the SAU, where different campus environmental organizations were doing all kinds of really cool things. SEAL (Student Environmental Action League) was making soda bottle planters, while the Beekeeping Club was making vanilla sugar scrub!

On Monday, there were a number of various DIY repair clinics set up to repair bikes and clothing with the Patagonia Worn Wear crew! Students were empowered with the education to repair their own clothing so that they don’t have to purchase new clothes.

SEAL regularly meets on Mondays from 5-6pm in Campus Center Rm: 1010/1015.

Don’t forget to use #RITStudentLife to share your experience with us!
