Letters of Hope for #NSPW17.
You’ve made it through your first couple weeks of classes, and maybe some of you are already approaching your first rounds of test, projects, and major assignments. We know that as we work through the semester, it can be stressful at times, which is why it is so important to take care of your mental health. According to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention on what just so happens to be National Suicide Prevention Week, taking care of your mental health is the smart thing to do. We also have to take care of one another.
You’re a Tiger, I’m a Tiger and #RITTigersCare! This is something that we as a community should always try our best to remember as we go about the semester. And, don't forget that RIT offers a wide range of resources to help!
If you or someone you know needs help, just ask!
In honor of #NSPW17, the Counseling & Psychological Services office hosted a "Letters of Hope" campaign, allowing students to write their own letter of support.
Here are some of my favorites:
- "I believe in you" (so do we!)
- "You are loved"
