Be a part of RIT’s campus-wide initiative, and show your fellow tigers that you care.

Tigers Care was created as an effort to enhance, promote, and sustain a culture of caring at RIT, through encouraging awareness of each other’s well being.  As members of the RIT community, this is a significant move to foster more understanding and support between everyone at RIT and make our campus a more compassionate environment.

The Tigers Care Steering Committee is housed in the Division of Student Affairs and is made up of staff and students devoted to create a culture of caring at RIT.  They hope to bring people together through different programs and activities across campus, and encourage each other to pay attention to their self and those around them.

As a part of RIT and this initiative, we encourage you to reach out to those that are facing challenges and learn about the resources on campus for yourself and others.  Know the signs of concern, and direct those in need to best resource to help.  RIT is home to numerous locations that are there to help, including the Student Counseling & Psychological Services, Student Health Center, and the Ombuds Office, each of which are Title IX confidential resources.

As a student of RIT, you are an important part of this initiative.  Lend a helping hand to your friends, classmates, and fellow Tigers, and be the support someone may need.  College is difficult for everyone, and we all want to know that someone cares.
