Team Building is offered as a service to groups from both within and outside of the RIT community. Any RIT community group, consisting of RIT students, staff and/or faculty, may schedule a 1-3 hour session at the Red Barn. This session will be custom tailored to meet the needs and objectives or your group members.
Goals for this program:
- Foster team spirit
- Enhance group communication skills
- Increase problem solving capabilities
- Promote group support, trust, and cooperation
- Explore risk-taking
- Instill personal self-confidence, motivation and empowerment
We support and promote the "challenge by choice" philosophy for all programs that we offer. Please see Scheduling a Program or contact the Interactive Adventures office for further details and scheduling information.

Your team has just escaped the confines of a giant spider's web and must now cross a fifty foot bottomless chasm using wood boards, ropes, and one another as your only resources. The only way to accomplish these tasks is through total team involvement, communication, and cooperation. Next, your team discusses how well you worked together. After isolating your teams strengths and weaknesses, another challenge is issued - scaling a fourteen foot wall, climbing a sheer rock face, or diving for a trapeze bar suspended thirty feet in the air. Throughout the day, cheers and applause are the norms, encouragement is the staple, and camaraderie is the outcome. This is what goes on inside the big Red Barn and much more.
