Where will your college experience take you? This program, sponsored by RIT's Study Abroad & Fellowships Office, provides a firsthand view of the study abroad experience. You will experience a condensed study abroad excursion through a three day, two night trip to Montreal, Canada. You'll take part in everything from crossing international borders to staying in youth hostels, experiencing local activities and visiting local attractions. Take a walking tour of Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal), exploring the historic buildings, plazas, outdoor cafes and French bakeries. Visit the breathtaking Basilique Notre-Dame and hike up Mont-Royal to see a sweeping view of the city. Experience a guided ghost tour, visit Olympic Park and explore Montreal’s unique underground city, a series of passageways connecting more than 1,700 shops. This is an experience not to be missed!
To participate in this program you must have valid identification to enter Canada (i.e. passport book, passport card, visa if needed, etc.).
Participants in this program will move in on Friday, August 14 and the program will begin Saturday, August 15.
*Please note: commuter students will be discounted the cost of early move in fees.
