FACEtime: Canoe Camping

FACEtime facilitates face-to-face encounters that develop Friendships, a sense of Adventure, Connections with resources and meaningful Engagement.  FACEtime programs are run by RIT’s Outdoor Education department.

In Canoe Camping, come join a group of your new classmates on a multi-night canoe trip where you explore backcountry waterways and camp in the wilderness. Learn all about how to proficiently navigate a canoe in open water, how to canoe-camp, and most of all, bond with those that may end up being friends for life! No experience is needed but all participants should feel comfortable being on and in the water.

The trip fee covers most necessary camping gear, all group gear, transportation, and meals are provided.

*Please note: commuter students will be discounted the cost of early move in fees.
