Pedal your way into a piece of history. This program offers a guided bike tour from RIT to Niagara Falls and back along the historic Erie Canal. The 180-mile round trip will take riders through quaint villages and scenic farmlands en route to the majestic Niagara Falls. Two-thirds of the ride will be off-road, on the smooth, crushed stone surface of the Erie Canal Towpath - one of the most popular bike routes in New York. The remaining one-third will be on the roads in and around the city of Niagara Falls. All meals and lodging are included in the price.
Riders MUST provide their own bikes and helmets, and must carry their own gear throughout the ride.
Participants in this program will move in on Friday, August 12 and the program will begin Saturday, August 13.
*Please note: commuter students will be discounted the cost of early move in fees.
