Letchworth State Park, renowned as the "Grand Canyon of the East," is one of the most incredible areas in the eastern U.S. The Genesee River roars through the gorge over three major waterfalls between cliffs--as high as 600 feet in some places--surrounded by lush forests. With 66 miles of hiking trails in the park, you’ll discover one of the best kept secrets of the Rochester Area. On this trip we will explore this amazing natural treasure and its majestic waterfalls by day, socialize by campfires in the evening, and spend the nights in rustic cabins. Students must provide their own bedding (a sleeping bag is fine). Cabins are one room, have bunkbeds, electricity but no running water, and a nearby bath house with restrooms and showers.
*Please note: commuter students will be discounted the cost of early move in fees.
