We are a network of professionals that promotes brotherhood, scholarship and service the community. The fraternity promotes brotherhood by providing the members with personal and professional support. The brotherhood has been servicing the community since 1993 at R.I.T. We support the community by cosponsoring events with various organizations on campus.  These include promoting cultural awareness and enriching the collegiate environment. Every member must uphold the mission of the fraternity as a common value that distinguishes as Hermanos of Lambda Alpha Upsilon. The vision of Lambda Alpha Upsilon is to expand our brotherhood and services we provide to our communities while maintaining our culture and values.

Additional Information:

The Beta chapter of Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity Incorporated was chartered on April 17, 1993 when five outstanding Latino students from the Rochester Institute of Technology were inducted into the fraternity. Through their dedication and hard work, they formed a bond within themselves and the fraternity that has become the foundation of a new and unique brotherhood at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
