Contacting ISS in an Emergency

ISS advisors may be reached in an emergency situation 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Examples of emergencies are: being detained at a port-of-entry, being involved in an accident, or a family emergency.  You may reach an ISS advisor in an emergency by contacting RIT Public Safety at 585-475-3333.  Again, this phone number should be used for emergencies only.  For non-emergency situations, please contact us during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:300 pm, at 585-475-6943.

If you are in danger, need emergency medical assistance, need to report a crime that is in progress or that has just occurred or to report a fire or accident, then you need to contact the police or fire department by calling 911.
