We want to make sure that in leaving and re-entering the U.S. you have all the documents needed for re-entry. Your I-20 or DS-2019 form must be endorsed by an ISS advisor at least once each academic year to allow you to enter the U.S.
We recommend that you keep your documents with you when traveling within the U.S. for identification purposes. Please contact our office with any questions prior to leaving the country.

Please read if you need a new visa stamp in your passport
It is very important that if you are planning on traveling out of the U.S. AND need a new visa stamp in your passport that you speak to someone in the ISS office prior to traveling. You must have a “SEVIS” I-20 prior to applying for a new visa stamp. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact one of the ISS advisors. |
