Pre-Arrival - When to Arrive

If you are joining RIT in the fall, you should arrive on International Move-in Day. For students beginning their studies in fall, 2008, this date is Friday August 22, 2008. International Orientation activities will be held on that day and will continue throughout the first few weeks of the fall quarter. If you are beginning in another term, you should be on campus when your housing becomes available. (check with the Center for Residence Life to determine this date). Please check the RIT calendar to determine your arrival date. You should not plan to arrive earlier than the indicated time frame. If you do, it is likely that you will have to stay in a hotel until the residence areas are ready to receive new students.
