- About Us
The Student Advisory Board gives students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills by not only participating in Leadership Institute programs but by helping to plan and facilitate activities as well as to serve as mentors for new students involved in the programs.
By serving on the Leadership Institute Advisory Board, students will have the opportunity to practice and develop important leadership skills that will contribute to career and personal success. Some of the skill areas include: planning and organization, communication, teamwork, decision making, problem solving, public speaking, mentoring and emotional intelligence. It is also a great way to meet other people, have fun, become involved at RIT and make a difference! Also a terrific resume builder!
