Lil Kids on Campus is the summer program for school-aged children operated out of Margaret House Child Care Center on the campus of RIT. It is designed for children entering first through fourth grade. (For information on programs for older students, entering grades 5-12, go to kidsoncampus.rit.edu.
Lil Kids on Campus offers children the opportunity to participate in hands-on
fun-filled learning and recreational activities. The full-day program is in session for six consecutive weeks this summer; children can be enrolled for one to six weeks. Each week has a theme designed to include activities that stimulate imagination, enhance creativity and extend knowledge. Daily activities may include cooking, reading, writing, games, as well as arts and crafts. Each day the children will also spend time with an instructor working in a campus computer lab and have time for recreational swimming in the college’s pool.
The Lil Kids on Campus staff includes certified teachers who bring their love for learning to the program. Their commitment and enthusiasm set the tone for the day’s fun.
