Professional Development Series
Every student knows how to be a student, but not every student knows how to be a professional. That’s why RIT’s North Star Center for Academic Success and Cultural Affairs developed the Professional Development Series (PDS), a year-long effort designed to educate students in topics that are not usually taught in the classroom.
The PDS is designed to create a “whole” student. We know that students attending RIT will get a first class academic experience, but as we all know that is not enough for a student to get a job or navigate the professional world that they will enter during co-op and after graduation. The series consists of workshops that will provide students with a professional basis with which to better understand the career world.
