Spring Quarter Loftus Carson Book Fund Recipient, McNair Scholar

The North Star Center was completely unknown to me until spring 2008, when I was a recipient of the Loftus Carson Book Fund. After speaking with Mr. Bennett about my RIT experience thus far, I felt that the entire staff was there to help me enrich my college experience. Through the North Star program and AALANA I was also given the opportunity to work over the summer at RIT through the Ronald E. McNair Program. This program gave me more experience with conducting academic research with Professor Wilma King as my mentor.
