Family Check-in

When you check in not only will you be greeted by our lively Orientation team members, but you will also receive the Family Orientation schedule, the Family Survival Guide & Calendar, and other Family Orientation goodies!

In order to determine how many family members we will have joining us on August 20 and 21, 2013, we ask that you pre-register. This is not a binding registration, we would simply like to have an estimate so we can best accommodate all of our guests. Additionally, if you pre-register, we will automatically subscribe you to our quarterly parent/family e-newsletter starting in June. You can unsubscribe yourself at any time if you wish.

You will also need to check in on freshman move-in day at the Welcome Center and Resource Fair in the Gordon Field House and Activities Center. If you require sign language interpreting services, please make a request online at myaccess.rit.edu. If you require other special accommodations, please contact us in advance of your visit so we can do our best to meet your needs.

You and your student should attend the Resource Fair together and while your student is checking in for his/her Orientation, you should proceed to the Family Orientation table to check in for Family Orientation and pick up your materials.

If you cannot check in at the Resource Fair, a late check-in will be available the day after freshman move-in day in the Campus Center, on the second floor.
