Transfer students living in the residence halls will move in on Monday, August 19 (unless you are participating in a pre-orientation program). If you are unable to move in on the 19th, you may also move in on the day after freshman move-in day, which is Wednesday, August 21 through the day before classes between 8:00am and 5:00pm. You are NOT permitted to move in on freshman move-in day as this is for freshmen only. If you arrive between 5:00pm and 11:00pm on any of these days, please go to the 24 Hour Public Safety Desk in Grace Watson Hall for assistance. If you arrive after 11:00pm, you will be on your own to locate alternative housing for the night.
Move-in instructions for all the types of housing that transfer students are assigned to (apartments, University Commons suites, Global Village suites, RIT Inn permanent and temporary assignments, and residence halls) for the 2013-2014 academic year are in the Fall Arrival Guide. Just follow the instructions related to the housing you are assigned to for the new academic year.
