Disability Services

Students who would like to request accommodations due to a disability are
encouraged to complete a “Request for Accommodation” form, available at
www.rit.edu/dso or in the admission packet, and send it with documentation of
their disability to:

First-year students who qualify for disability services, and their families are
invited to attend the Disability Services Orientation Open House on Sunday,
August 30, 2009 from 10:00am–6:00pm or on Monday, August 31 from 11:00am–
5:00pm in the Eastman (Building 1), in the hallway starting with room 2309.
Important paper work and information regarding accommodations will be
available. Transfer students with disabilities are encouraged to visit the Open
House or anytime during Orientation Week.

Any student interested in working with a Learning Support Specialist in the Learning Support Services department who has not enrolled online during the summer,should see Lisa Fraser in room 1-2355. Available hours for brief meetings to enroll will be on Sunday, August 30, 2009 from 12:00pm–6:00pm and Monday, August 31 from 11:00am–4:30pm.
