DiscoveRIT is an assortment of optional pre-orientation programs for incoming freshmen and transfer students. Each program has a different focus and gives students an opportunity to discover RIT and the surrounding communities; become familiar with faculty, staff and resources at RIT; and make new friends through small group experiences.

DiscoveRIT is fully funded by participant fees. Upon registering, you will be directed to a payment site where payment may be made with a credit card. The fees vary by program (refer to Program Descriptions for exact fees).

DiscoveRIT participants will move in to their residence halls on Saturday, August 18, 2018. Each program has a different start time in the afternoon so please refer to your welcome letter for more details.
