John Iamaio is the Rochester area campus director for Campus Crusade for Christ. He grew up in Rochester and attended school at Cedarville University in Ohio where he graduated with a degree in Communications. After college, John spent five years in management with Wegmans Food and Pharmacy.
In 2002, John and his wife Laura felt called to leave their jobs in the corporate world to pursue full time ministry. Because of their love for college students, they joined Campus Crusade for Christ. Their first 4 ½ years on staff were spent at Syracuse University where their knowledge and passion for ministry grew.
In the fall of 2007, John returned to Rochester to help give leadership to the campus ministry here. He is at RIT because he truly loves college students and is excited about helping them connect with God in a practical way.
John is an ordained minister by the Evangelical Church Alliance (ECA). In his spare time he enjoys playing sports, the outdoors, watching movies, drinking coffee, and spending time with his two adorable children.
