Rev. Dr. E. Larraine Frampton is the new Lutheran chaplain.
She comes to RIT with a variety of experiences. Her ministry
settings include churches, hospice care, Bishop's staff and the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), Division for Ministry.
Born in Denver, Colorado, she has had the opportunity to live in major
cities such as Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago. She didn't
forget to experience the country. She lived in a rural setting to
realize her dream of having horses and riding them through the apple
orchards with her family. She loves kayaking, hiking, mountain biking
and cross country skiing. She recently took up golf and hasn't quite
decided how seriously to take it. Her seminary studies focused on pastoral
counseling and theology. If you ask her why she wants to do campus ministry,
she'll answer, "I want to be a spiritual resource for students and learn from
them what issues are important in their lives." She is looking forward to
getting to know you. |
