For me, Residence Life means family. I transferred to RIT my junior year and I didn't know anyone. The first thing I did was look for a job on campus. I was hired as an area office assistant at the Residence Life apartment area office and worked there for three years.
I was welcomed back for my fourth year as a Community Advocate when I decided to stay for graduate school. Residence Life had been there with me through most of my college years; it was my home away from home. The people I've met and the experiences that I've had have taught me a lot and have truly enriched my life. Without them, I wouldn't be who I am today.
