"Living in the residence halls for the first year was a very enjoyable experience for me.
The RAs were very welcoming and did their best to get us accustomed to living in the
residence halls. There was a great sense of community presented on my floor, which made
the transition easier. It gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of new people on the floor,
and I also got to know the RAs a little bit better. It cleared up some of my anxieties I
had about college life, such as living with a roommate. Knowing that I wasn't alone made
living away from home a bit more comforting."
