IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT SUMMER HOUSING CONTRACTS
by: Hannah Worek, Alpha Sigma Alpha - VP of PR and Recruitment
If you plan on living in RIT housing this summer, make sure you sign a summer housing contract and submit it to RIT Housing Operations! The summer contract period begins the day after graduation and ends either on the official summer quarter move-out date, or the date stated on your contract. RIT summer housing costs are calculated on a per week, per resident basis. Individuals who are not on the contract are not allowed to occupy the space, and those on the RIT summer housing contract may not store items that do not belong to them. If you are found to be in violation of any of the above rules, you may be removed from RIT housing, required to pay rent in full and may be sent to student conduct. Summer housing is not available at the RIT Inn & Conference Center.
Don’t put yourself at risk, sign a summer housing contract!
